Work in Progress: Portraiture
Here’s a little sneak-tease screenshot of an image I was working late last night. I usually shoot a roll or two a day on my Hasselblad, taking portraits of friends etc hanging out while were around the city skateboarding. Open House Shoot
With a critique for SPAO’s Open House show coming up this Friday, the time came to crack down and get shooting. I headed over to the studio, got the set together and got shooting. Planning this trip happened pretty darn quickly, shuffling the days of departure around 3 times caused a bit of confusion. En Equilibre: The Teardown
This wasn’t supposed to happen. When I wrapped up my last documentary of EQ, I was given the hope that the park would stick around for another 2 years. Apparently the owner (Jaques, see ramp photo) was fed up with throwing $60,000 at it a year, without any revenue to help cover the costs. En Equilibre: A Documentary
En Equilibre, located at 140 Boulevard Gréber in Gatineau, QC is the only only indoor skatepark for the Ottawa/Gatineau skaters to hone their skills over the harsh Canadian winters. Sam Lind goes to war.
Mitch Barrette has always been on spot missions. Usually uncapping and bondo-ing, but this past August, he hooked up with a few of the homies to build this unique spot.
